Liz Katrien, Owner & Creative Director of KATRIEN CREATIVES, provides design and creative services specializing in lingerie and swim for brands and independent designers. A native New Yorker, living between NYC and Puerto Rico, she finds inspiration throughout her travels. Immersed in different cultures, she is able to spot trends from beyond and learn first hand people’s needs and desires from all over.

Her style is a playful modern elegance, that balances luxury and function- creating timeless pieces. Honoring everyone of all sexes, ages, and sizes; Liz is constantly evolving and applies her knowledge to designs that supports all figures; making everyone feel beautiful and powerful. With an open-mind and meditative approach, she believes the creative process is the main force to developing unique and innovative designs. Along with precise planning, strategic thinking, and exquisite execution; every step is seamless.

Liz has worked from large and notable brands such as Target and Nordstroms, to smaller niche labels like, Fredericks of Hollywood, Adore Me, Felina Lingerie, Creme Bralee, Hips & Curves, Q-T Intimates (Creative Director), and more. She also designs for her own lines: Katrien Lingerie, Katrien Swim, and Va Joie Costumes.

Taking theory and fantasy, and transforming it into reality is her passion.  Creating designs inspired by nature, art, and culture; and turning it into pieces that everyone can wear comfortably and confidently is her ambition. It is an extraordinary journey she always looks forward sharing with creative types alike.
